  BC Author Bank

The following information will be emailed to BC BookWorld for review before being added to BC BookWorld's free, online Author Bank service. Submissions will only be accepted from writers who have published at least one book (40 pages or more).

Go ahead. This will be easy.

The boxes (below) will expand automatically to accommodate whatever text you provide. There's only one thing to remember: You won't be able to skip from box to box by using the Enter key! Click inside each box you want by using your mouse/cursor. Please take a nano-second to allow this idea to override your haste.

You'll find a SUBMIT button at the bottom, when you're done.

Just the facts, please. This reference site has been designed to serve posterity more than publicity. If you feel an overbearing need to tell the world your book is essential reading, well, you can always advertise in BC BookWorld--but try not to advertise here. We reserve the right to edit your submissions for clarity and puffery. As well, to minimalize editing at our end, please avoid sending any information that is subject to change, such as your living companions (i.e. the name of your current cat), email or website addresses, and books slated for publication but not yet in print. In a nutshell, all the information should remain accurate long after I get run over by a bus.

Submissions will be accepted from authors or editors pertaining to British Columbia who have published at least one book (40 pages or more). Your book(s) must be sold in bookstores, or available from libraries. Self-published titles are okay, but not print-on-demand titles.

That's about it. Once again, you can't jump into the next box by pressing the Enter key! Use your cursor. I know you're in a hurry, but please slow down so you don't make this frustrating mistake. Slow and steady never did win the race, but it's the best way to fill out forms.
