Children's book author Yvette Fleming grew up on a farm in Alberta, six miles south and one mile east of a little town called Falher. At seventeen, she graduated from George P. Vanier School in Donnelly, Alberta. As a child she always had a yearning to travel to British Columbia so she decided to adventure to this province in 1975. She loved it so much that she's been here ever since. Yvette is bilingual and is a Francophone. She volunteers her time to the St. Mary's Hospital/Health Care Auxiliary, The Lupus Society and The Sunshine Coast Akroswirls Lupus Group, The Liberal Party, and a few other groups.
