From office products to furniture to recycling, Jill Doucette's Greening Your Office (Self-Counsel, 2015) offers advice about sustainable office practices that use less energy, reduce waste and save money. The goal is to help people learn how to implement affordable and simple strategies to reduce an office's carbon footprint, to create a healthier work environment and to increase employee morale. Active in many local non-profits and businesses, Doucette grew up in the B.C. interior before coming to the West Coast where she is the director of Synergy Enterprises, an organization that works with businesses and non-profit organizations looking to be more environmentally friendly. Doucette's other book, Greening Your Community (Self-Counsel, 2015), provides environmentally-friendly ideas to increase community ties and improve your neighbourhood.
