Co-author with Dan Langford of Cycling the Kettle Valley Railway (Rocky Mountain Books, Calgary, Alberta, 1994; third edition 2007).

The Kettle Valley Railway was envisioned to keep the mineral wealth of the Kootenays from going south; about 80 years later the abandoned rail track and its many connectors keep cyclists heading west and east. For walkers and hikers, much of the Trans Canada Trail uses the Kettle Valley rail lines through parts of the Okanagan, as shown in Trans Canada Trail: The British Columbia Route (Mussio $19.95).
