Susan Bewsey is an entrepreneur who got her start in the employment services industry. Together with her husband she established, launched, and grew an international home-cleaning franchise business. After more than a decade, she became a small-business development and service consultant in the service industry, coupling her experience with education in the public and private sectors of banking and finance. She is the author of Start & Run a Home Cleaning Business.

Elder care and the management of elders' finances and estates is the subject for Susan Bewsey's second advise manual, Estate Downsizing for Caregivers (Self Counsel 2014) that shares her experience with "downsizing someone else's life." Specifically, Bewsey describes the pitfalls and stress of amalgamating households and making wills. According to Bewsey, caregivers of all types can easily make mistakes when acting in someone's best interest, only to find out that they have sentimentalized incorrectly in making their decisions.
