Recently Jim Munroe invoiced a certain coffee company, a cigarette pusher and an athletic shoemaker for product placement costs after the publication of his second novel Everyone in Silico. No one sent a cheque. But he got ink. Munroe supposedly jumped ship from HarperCollins after the publication of his first novel, Flyboy Action Figure Comes with Gasmask. Maybe the ship left without him. Either way, the former Adbusters editor turned do-it-yourselfer has started his own No Media Kings label. We look forward to his picture in a Mac Parry column.
