Born in 1946 in Vancouver, Sharon Brown grew up on Air Force bases in Canada, France and England. Some Become Flowers (Harbour, 1993) is her memoir of caring for her mother as she was dying in the author's home in Mission. Sharon Brown has since moved with her family to Roberts Creek on the Sunshine Coast.
