Born in Alberta in 1913, Cramond moved to B.C. where he worked as an Outdoors Editor and Vancouver Province columnist for more than 20 years. His book A Bear Behind (Trendex Pub., 1973) contains anecdotal stories and information about Bears. He is also the author of a boxed series about his own experiences hunting game and fishing. Cramond accumulated more than 60 years of fishing in British Columbia waters.
