As a University of Victoria instructor at the School of Nursing she co-authored Aging in British Columbia: Burden or Benefit? (Detselig, Temeron 1998) with Albertan Herbert Northcutt. It includes a many graphs and much statistical information on the demographics of seniors. The book suggests that B.C. does not have an unusually high percentage of elderly citizens and that the benefit of attracting seniors to an economy can counter-balance the burden.
