Born in Dublin, Ireland in 1954, Clune studied at the Centre of Transpersonal Psychology and at the Maitreya School of Healing, in London, England. She immigrated to B.C. in 1987. She was recruited by Oxfam, Kenya after 22 years of practicing Psychotherapy and has worked as an advisor to UNICEF and World Food Programme. She is the author of The Coming of the Feminine Christ (Amrita Publishing, 1998).
