An associate professor in the Department of English at UBC, Partridge co-edited The Book Unbound: Editing and Reading Medieval Manuscripts and Texts (UTP, 2004) with UBC's Sian Echard. The study looks at the pros and cons of digital editions versus print editions, and offers practical ideas on editing print and hypertext.
Stephen Partridge later co-edited The Cambridge Companion to Baseball (Cambridge University Press, 2011), with Leonard Cassuto of Fordham University, New York City. At various times, Partridge has counted himself a fan of the Cardinals, Orioles, Red Sox, and Mariners.
