Co-author of Watershed Moments: A Pictorial History of Courtenay and District (Harbour, 2015), along with Deborah Griffiths, Judy Hagen and Catherine Siba. The book features a collection of previously unpublished images along with stories that tell a story of the Comox Valley from the K'omoks First Nation to prospectors, loggers, shopkeepers, adventurers and entrepreneurs.

Griffiths also co-authored with Diane Solie Smith the award-winning Atlin: The story of British Columbia's last gold rush (Atlin Historical Society, 1996). This title received the Lieutenant Governor's Medal for History.

In 2017, co-authored with her husband David Dickinson, Mike & Sue Morhun, and Helen and Jamie Stephen The Ladies and the Lake Trout: Atlin Remembered (Ptarmigan, 2017).
