North Vancouver nurse Nancy Hallaway and Zigurts Strauts wrote Turning Lead into Gold: How Heavy Metal Poisoning Can Affect Your Child and How to Prevent and Treat It (New Star, 1995) after Hallaway began seeing Dr. Strauts as a patient in 1993.
