Born and raised in Vancouver, Terri Alcock attended UBC and the Open Learning University, earning a BA in Administrative Studies, Dip. Public Sector Management. Retired from 25 years in the public service, she is now a marriage commissioner. She has three adult children and one grandchild. She and her husband live in Shirley (between Sooke and the Jordan River), shere they run a vacation rental with two old english sheepdogs.
