Deborah Grey was born on July 1, 1952 in Vancouver. She graduated with a BA in Arts and Education from the University of Alberta in Edmonton. After teaching high school at the Frog Lake Indian Reserve and Dewdney, both in Alberta, Grey became the Reform Party's first Member of Parliament. Her 2004 title is Never Retreat, Never Explain, Never Apologize: My Life, My Politics (Key Porter).
