Stefan Czernecki is a Vancouver-based illustrator whose work has appeared in more than 30 books including Huevos Rancheros, The Sea Kings, a Hans Christian Andersen tale called For Sure, For Sure (Tradewind, 2004) and Viva Zapata (Tradewind 2009). With text by Tiffany Stone, Rainbow Shoes (Tradewind 2012), illustrated by Stefan Czernecki, was shortlisted for the 2013 Christie Harris Illustrated Children's Literature Prize.
