Lost and Found Traditions: Native American Art 1965-1985 (Douglas & McIntyre, 1986). This book was created to reveal the direction in which contemporary Aboriginal art was heading. Like many people before him Coe originally believed that the tradition of Aboriginal art was dying, however Coe was quick to discover a plethora of new art being created and that the lines between traditional and contemporary styles were highly blurred.
