A founding member of the BC Humanist Association, Glenn Hardie was an adjunct professor in UBC's School of Architecture (1991-1995). His fourth book, The Essence of Humanism (Xlibris Corporation, 2001), encourages free thought as a replacement for religious beliefs. Previous titles include Construction Contracts and Specifications (Reston,: Reston Publishing, 1981) and Construction Estimating Techniques (Paramus, NJ, U.S.A.: Prentice Hall PTR, 1986).
