As an associate professor of Anthropology at Simon Fraser University, Parin Dossa published Politics and Poetics of Migration, a study on Iranian migration and storytelling as a contribution to Medical Anthropology, Migration and Gender Studies. It consists of narratives of four Iranian women forced to flee their country. It was followed by Racialized Bodies, Disabling Worlds: Stories of Immigrant Muslim Women, about Canadian Muslim women.
