Aubrey Perry of Vancouver was born of British parents on January 25, 1948, in the Far East where he lived for about five years, prior to moving to London, England. In 1956 his family immigrated to Canada and settled in British Columbia. He began composing poetry when he was working as a truck driver, but he suffered a disabling accident in 2005. His self-published poems are expressed from a child's point of view.
